In the 1960s and 70s, several tuning companies specialized in the VW Beetle but only Oettinger was officially approved by the factory. Therefore, an Oettinger Beetle could be ordered from a VW dealer and came with the full factory warranty.

The Oettinger TSV 2000 differs from the standard vehicle with its 2-liter engine, long-ratio gearbox, 200 km/h speedometer, additional gauges for RPM, oil pressure and oil temperature, ATS alloy wheels, and a stainless steel exhaust system. It also features a large front-mounted oil cooler with an external oil pump and a sports steering wheel.

We are very pleased to offer for sale this rare opportunity to restore this cool TSV2000. Originally sold new in Germany in a nice shade of Metallic Silver with black top and seats. Engine is in very nice condition only needing a small service. Included are all the remaining mechanical components. Body needs to complete a light restoration and it is in great shape with no rust.

The car is offered with original German registration.
