HISTORY

The 330 America was replaced by the 330 GT 2+2, which was unveiled at the Brussels Auto Show. It was fitted with the new 4-litre Type 209 V12, which sported a slightly longer engine block than the 400 SA series from which it was derived. The 330 GT 2+2′s elegant line was the work of Pininfarina, and two series were built. These differed principally in the front end treatment; the first series (1963-1965) having four headlights and the second (1965-1967) just two. Around 1,000 examples were built in all.

Production for the 330 GT 2+2 ran from 1964 to 1967, when it was replaced by the 365 GT 2+2. During this time, 625 Series I and 474 Series II examples were produced, outselling the preceding 250 GT 2+2 model during a similar production life span; the 2+2 concept proving to be a very popular ongoing configuration.

We are very pleased to offer for sale this beautiful and matching numbers early Series I 330 GT. It is a unrestored example in running and driving condition. The bodywork and chassis require some attention. It requires complete and thorough servicing and maintenance as it has not been used recently

The car is offered with valid French plates and registration.
